COVER LETTER SAMPLES

Do you need help writing a cover letter? You're not alone, so many people have trouble writing them. The key is not to make it too long and drawn-out. Let it be inviting, I do prefer to have the same header on it as the resume. Be sure to address it to the person that will be reading it, not to (to whom it may concern) or it will probably be trashed. Take the extra time to find the hiring managers name. Call the company and explain that you are forwarding your resume and would like to properly address it to the right person, 99% of the time they will tell you.

Create a brief paragraph of yourself with some accomplishments along with what you can bring to their company. Then focus on 3 or 4 bullets on some strong achievements. And close with a non-desperate statement (looking forward to hearing from them).

Remember, a cover letter should be inviting and informative. The link below will provide you with some samples of cover letters and resumes.
